Halloween in Rehoboth

    trick or treat graphic

Every year it can be a hard decision to make in choosing just the right spot to take your kids trick-or-treating. If you are bit of a last minute planner, no worries, we’ve got you covered! For the best trick or treat locations in Rehoboth Beach, just check out our list below. We’ve done the research for you so that in just a few hours, you can have a game plan on the most candy populated areas to take those little monsters of yours… or little princesses or Star Wars characters. (Costumes are uber creative now a’days!)

If you’d rather forego knocking on your neighbors’ doors, try the TANGER OUTLETS in Rehoboth. This is the perfect one stop shop for you to walk around with the kiddos. You can go store to store for trick-or-treating from 4pm to 6pm. Participating stores will have a decal in their window to make it easy on mom and dad! Just park your car and walk around for a couple hours. Maybe the candy-crazed children will even let you get a little shopping in? Nah… probably not.

If the outlets seem a bit too overwhelming, why not try the Solid Ground Church’s Trunk or Treat tonight from 5 to 9pm? It will include cars decorated in various themes, games, food, beverages and prizes. The church is located at 33739 Marsh Rd #2, in Toddys Business Plaza, Lewes.

Now if you prefer to keep it old-school and stick to your surrounding neighborhoods, most cities have set up specific times to go trick-or-treating. Lewes has ordained 6-8pm for children 13 and under. Rehoboth is also 6-8pm but for kids 14 and under. We at the Don Williams Realty Group ask you to please exercise caution and always trick-or-treat with your children to ensure their safety, no matter where you go.

    scary pancakes

When it’s all said and done and the kids are tired, (looking cute and working for all that candy is quite exhausting) you can end the night at your local IHOP! That’s right, IHOP is serving scary pancakes through the rest of today, just in honor of Halloween. As if the candy didn’t have enough sugar, let your young ones enjoy a delicious IHOP buttermilk pancake decorated with a bright whipped smile and eyes and a strawberry nose. Eyeballs made out of Oreos and hair of candy corn makes for one frightfully delicious and festive treat! The Rehoboth Beach IHOP is located at 36670 Bayside Outlet Drive and stays open until 10pm! (You may just want to accept that it’s going to be one long and hyper night.)
