Intro to Rehoboth Beach

Live and Play along the Boardwalk at Rehoboth Beach, DE

Rehoboth Beach, noted by AARP as one of the “Best Places to Retire”, is a great place to live for active retirees looking for small-town charm, great housing prices, and amazing beaches with excellent water access and activities. Currently, I have several listings at my website, Find Delaware Homes, many with a minimum of three bedrooms, two bathrooms and on one level, making for easy living and mobility throughout each home. These homes have a price range good for any budget-conscious retiree looking for a new home to relax in and enjoy the best of what Rehoboth Beach offers.

Rehoboth Beach is a bit off the well-traveled path along the east coast, being located on the southern tip of the Delmarva Peninsula. This has helped Rehoboth Beach retain its small beach town feel. Yet, it is close to high quality amenities such as Beebe Medical Center in nearby Lewes. Rehoboth Beach is an ideal place to retire where you can have it all. Plenty of unique shops and galleries and restaurants also await you. With pleasure amenities such as golf courses, vineyards and country clubs along the bay, there are plenty of options for fun and relaxation.

Staying active in Rehoboth Beach is easy; you can walk or ride your bike on the mile-long boardwalk, or Junction and Breakwater trail. There are water sports and activities just south of Rehoboth Beach on Dewy Beach, which lies on Rehoboth Bay. There is the Delaware Seashore State Park a short drive south along Highway 1, and Henlopen State Park to the North along Delaware Bay.
